This past week, They trekked up to Pennsylvania to partake in leadership training on student organizing and on leading successful campaigns! The Environmental Awareness Club is a proud member of CCN and is determined to raising student power within our campus! Huge thanks to the 18 incredible volunteers who came out and showed some love to our iconic South Padre Island jetties! 🙌
Thanks to everyone who’s making a real difference in protecting this vital part of our coast and the amazing wildlife it supports. 🦀
We tackled a ton of trash, fishing debris, and a lot of MACROplastics.
[Btw we had a lot more bags. It’s just that when we took the group photo, we got rid of some already.😗]
Cleaning the Jetties is a one of a kind experience.
What do you say, should we do it again in a few months?
