Today we had a Special Visit , we had the honor of welcoming Elizabeth Huerta , author of Rooster Rey: A spy , to Abundant Grace Learning Academy!

Ms.Huerta spent time reading her wonderful story to our children , and they absolutely loved following Rooster Rey on his exciting adventure . Thank you Elizabeth , for sharing your time , your talent, and your love of reading with our children . We are so grateful for your visit and inspiring young heart to discover joy of books and imagination .

As we wrap up summer 2026 program , our hearts are so full ❤️.

This week we finished with Wide World of Sports 🏀 🏈 , and what a way to end an unforgettable summer ! From beginning to end , our students, experienced weeks filled with learning,  laughter , friendships, and hands-on adventures . Throughout the summer, we enjoyed :
Rainforest week 🍃
Robotics Week 🤖 
Sculpting week 🎨
Independence week 🇺🇸
Cooking and baking week 🧑‍🍳 
Great outdoors Week ⛺️
Bugs and butterfly week 🦋🐛
Wide world of sports week 🎾🏈⚽️
Our students had the opportunity to :
⭐️Meet firefighters , police officers,Texas State trooper.
⭐️Learned from special guest , including robotics demonstration , clay sculpting , and wildlife presentation featuring snake, turtle shell , and much more .
⭐️Built tents, explore nature , create crafts , and complete exciting science and art activities .
⭐️Make smoothies , check mix,no-bake cookies, quesadillas , and homemade ice cream .
⭐️ Enjoy Kona Ice Day, water play , slip - and- slides,bubbles , outdoor games .
⭐️Sing, worship , and grow in Gods Word during our weekly chapel services .

Every smile, every laugh, every new friendship , and every memory made this summer one we will never forget.

Although this summer has come to an end , we are already looking forward to summer 2027!

Outdoor week fun ⛺️

Today our little campers made their very own campfire craft and enjoyed delicious s’mores ! Their smiles and excitement made this activity extra special ❤️.

Today we said goodbye to one of our staff members, Gracie, as she begins a new journey in San Antonio as a fourth grade math teacher. We have been truly blessed to have Gracie as part of the Abundant Grace Learning Academy family, her love for children, kind, joyful spirit have left a lasting impact on our students. Whether she was helping a child learn, sharing laughter with her students, or lovingly doing the girls hair, Gracie always made each child feel special and valued. This summer was filled with precious memories, countless smiles, and moments that our students will cherish. Today brought both laughter and tears as she said her goodbyes to her students.

Gracie, thank you for sharing your gifts, your patience, and your heart with our students. We pray that God will guide your steps, strengthen you, and use you in mighty ways as you begin your teaching career.

Gracie was showered with love today through gifts from both staff and students a reflection of how deeply you are loved. You will be greatly missed, May God bless you abundantly in this new chapter. We are so proud of you and wish you the very best in your first year teaching.

July Spotlight Student

Maddison is definitely a future teacher! She will get the class in shape if the teacher was to ask her! Such a beautiful, smart girl, who knows how to win your heart. The minute she knows that she's going to get in a little trouble, that sweet voice of her and those beautiful eyes of hers will capture your heart! She can tell you every room in the daycare and knows how to keep her class in line. The love she has for her best friend Asher is so special! we have had the privilege to see you grow from the baby room to the two year-old class. We love you sweet girl and we can't wait to see you what your future holds. We love you Maddison!

Carolina is such a sweet, caring, and beautiful woman. She has the quietest voice and you hardly get a word out of her! but her love speaks, louder than words. She loves on our babies so much. She always sits with them to interact, comfort, and give them her full attention. And that is one of the most special gift you can give any child love and your full attention.The kids love her, and it shows! They cry for her when she leaves them. Carolina, even though you have been with us for a short time, you have shown so much love to our little ones.
What she loves most about working with children: Their joy, and love.

Asher:
Asher is such a sweet boy to his friends. The minute he sees you, he runs to you for a hug-and how can we resist those lovely hugs! He's so full of energy and eager to learn new things. We've been so privileged to see him grow and learn from the baby room to now the two-year-old room. And he's got some dance moves that will keep you laughing! We love you Asher boy.

Melissa Gonzalez
After School Teacher
Melissa has a heart for children and a passion for helping them succeed. Even while working full-time for the Edinburgh school district, she faithfully serves our after school students with a smile and a carrying spirit. She enjoys watching children learn, grow, and discover the world around. Melissa loves singing at church and worshiping God, and she brings that same joy and encouragement to our school each day. We are grateful for Melissa's dedication, kindness, and the positive impact that she makes in the lives of our students every day. Thank you Melissa, for being such a blessing to Abundant Grace Learning Academy!

Abigail
Our sweet and precious baby girl has such a beautiful smile and knows how to light up the room! She loves to be out of the room on strolls and especially loves to see what everyone else is doing. Abigail loves to come visit us at the office and keep us entertained. She definitely knows how to keep us on our toes! We love you so much, sweet girl.
