St. Joseph Catholic School students and families served God and the wider parish community by taking on liturgical and service roles during the celebration of Holy Mass this morning. God is good! 🙏

Our St. Joseph Catholic School students did a great job at the District PSIA competition! Most of our students who competed ranked in the top six of their competitions, and many of our students are state competitors or state alternates. We are extremely appreciative of Ms. Santos for overseeing the competition and event on campus, to our teachers who coached different events, and to the parents who gave of their time and energy all day to have a successful event! Now we look forward to the State PSIA Meet April 18!

We celebrated Mr. Martin's birthday with the whole school singing for him at morning assembly and with faculty and staff surprising him with a celebration after school. We're thankful for the time, care, and energy he gives to our school so that our students have a clean environment during the day!

Last week Msgr. Brum celebrated Holy Mass with our school community on Thursday. Our Kinder students took ownership of the Vocation Chalice as we continue to pray for all vocations in our diocese and around the world. Out students did a great job with their liturgical leadership and service roles as lectors, cantors, altar servers, and gift bearers. As always, we donated food that goes to our St. Vincent de Paul food pantry to help those in our community that are experiencing food insecurity.

St. Joseph Catholic School faculty and students pray through the Stations of the Cross every Friday of Lent 30 minutes before dismissal in the Church. Families and parishioners are invited to pray with us. It's a great and ancient Catholic way to stretch our spiritual muscles as we journey with Jesus through his suffering and death.
