Extremely proud of Pct 2 Deputy Constable Sandy Alonzo who was waved down by a panicking mother today with a choking baby. Deputy Alonzo took action and single handedly saved the baby who had something lodged in its airway. Paramedics arrived shortly thereafter and tended to the baby. Thank you for your quick action, selfless service and dedication to your profession. Even though this is the job we do daily, saving a life especially that of a baby deserves praise and recognition. I/we owe you a debt of gratitude 🙏

We are saddened to hear that Harris County Sheriff’s Deputy Sandeep Singh Dhaliwal has passed away after being shot in the line of duty during a traffic stop today.

Our prayers and deepest condolences extend to his family and fellow officers.

On September 21,1989 in Alton Texas a Mission I.S.D. Bus was going on Brian rd and 5 mile line when a Dr. Pepper truck lost its brakes and ran in to a school Bus and dropped the bus into a pit with 81 young people. Out of the 81 people on the bus 21 passed a way. It’s been 30 years.
