🔹 August 7 (Friday) – All Grades, New to District & Late Registration

Congratulations to Daniella Salazar!

We are proud to recognize Daniella Salazar for qualifying for the 2026 Nike Outdoor Nationals at Hayward Field in Eugene, Oregon, one of the premier track and field competitions in the nation.

Daniella has earned her place among the country’s top athletes in the Shot Put and will proudly represent South Texas Throwers, Robert Vela High School, the City of Edinburg, and the entire Rio Grande Valley on the national stage.

Her dedication, hard work, and commitment to excellence have led to this outstanding achievement. We wish Daniella the very best as she competes against the nation’s elite and continues to make our SaberCat community proud.

From every department presenting thoughtful gifts, to students lining the halls with applause and cheers, it was a beautiful reminder of the impact great educators make every single day.

Senior Sunset 2026 🌅🎓

As the sun set over the RVHS football field, it marked the closing of a chapter filled with memories, friendships, achievements, and unforgettable moments. Thank you to all of our Seniors who came out to celebrate Senior Sunset and share one final evening together as the Class of 2026.

Your time here has left a lasting impact at Robert Vela, and we are incredibly proud of everything you have accomplished. While this chapter may be coming to an end, your future is only beginning.

We look forward to celebrating each of you one last time at Graduation on Sunday, May 31 at 2:00 PM at Bert Ogden Arena. Seniors should arrive by 12:30 PM.
