Jeffrey Salcedo Cantú, International Business Development Consultant, participated as a speaker at Expo PyME Monterrey, held at CINTERMEX in Monterrey.

During his presentation, "Expande correctamente tu empresa regiomontana a Texas," Jeffrey shared insights on expanding into the Texas market, highlighting Edinburg as a strategic destination for Monterrey-based companies and the resources available through the Soft Landing process.

The session drew strong interest from entrepreneurs, with an extended Q&A focused on specific business projects and expansion opportunities.

Today is National Workforce Development Day! And what better way to celebrate than by connecting job seekers with opportunities at our IT/STEM Job Fair! 💼💻

This morning, we brought together 15+ employers hiring in IT and STEM-related fields and welcomed more than 100 job seekers ready to connect with employers and take the next step in their careers.

A huge thank you to our partners at Workforce Solutions, the UTRGV Career Center, and UTRGV Professional Education & Workforce Development for helping make today’s event possible.

Get ready, Edinburg! Swig, the fast-growing beverage brand known for its customizable “dirty sodas,” is coming to 415 W. Trenton Rd.

The Edinburg location is planned as Swig’s first in the Rio Grande Valley. From sodas mixed with flavored syrups and creams to fresh fruit and other add-ins, Swig brings a fun twist to your favorite drinks.

Edinburg EDC is excited to welcome this first-to-market concept to our city and another new addition to the growing Trenton corridor.

Edinburg EDC is proud to contribute $10,000 to Workforce Solutions in support of the Building Pathways to Infrastructure Jobs Grant. This workforce initiative connects individuals with training, certifications, apprenticeships, and employment opportunities in high-demand industries.

Our contribution will help provide participants with essential support such as uniforms, toolkits, licensing fees, and certifications while they complete their training and prepare to enter the workforce.

Through partnerships like this, we continue investing in local talent, supporting workforce development, and strengthening the pipeline of skilled workers for Edinburg employers.
