They’ve been practicing and they are getting better! PreK-4 and kínder students have been challenged to learn how to read “Green Eggs and Ham” by Dr. Seuss. It’s a 1.5 (first grade reading level). The story includes only 50 words, and it’s one of the most well known books in early childhood literacy. Here’s Sebastian Bernal and Megan Pina from Ms. Herrera’s class trying to read. Keep practicing Bobcat Cubs!

Kinder parents, be on the look out! Starting next week your child will be taking home a reading fluency story. Early childhood literacy is important. Here are Rachel Ryer, Jenna De La Cruz, Adyson Silva and Megan Piña from Ms. Herrera’s class.
