UTRGV Upward Bound Edinburg

Our Upward Bound Edinburg students spent their Saturday, April 25, 2026, at a Health Camp with College First. From learning how to suture and take vital signs to exploring body systems and acting out real medical scenarios, students applied critical thinking to diagnose and solve problems!🩺

On April 15, we celebrated College Signing Day as our Upward Bound Edinburg students proudly announced where they will continue their academic journeys. We are incredibly proud of each and every one of you and can’t wait to see all that you accomplish!🌟🎓

Our Upward Bound students had an incredible experience at the Architecture and Civil Engineering Camp with College First on March 28, 2024!🌟From hands-on activities to real-world insights, they’re building the foundation for their future one step at a time.👷‍♂️

Sweaters & Smiles Toy Drive Bash 🎄✨
During our Saturday Enrichment event on 12/06/2025, UB Edinburg and UBMS Edinburg students got creative decorating ugly sweaters while giving back through our toy donation drive! All donated toys went to Rainbow Room and Mujeres Unidas to help spread holiday joy in our community.

This past Saturday, our Upward Bound students came together at UTRGV for a day filled with teamwork, learning, and thankfulness! From fun icebreakers and interactive games to heartfelt Thanksgiving letters and inspiring college journey presentations, it was a day to remember. 💛

This past Saturday, Upward Bound Edinburg hosted a Financial Literacy Workshop in partnership with Vantage Bank! Students gained valuable insight into budgeting, saving, and building financial confidence for the future.

Our Upward Bound Edinburg students traveled to Texarkana for the TRIO Student Leadership Conference 2025, connecting with other TRIO students and building leadership skills! 💼🌟
We also stopped by the University of Houston for a campus visit and made one last memory at the Texas-Arkansas state line before heading home!
