Alana Albert has been a student at Dancentre of Edinburg for 16 years. During her time at Dance she has been an exemplary student and a role model to younger dancers. She has served as a principal dancer for Edinburg Dance Theater, as junior faculty, and been a member and choreographer of our competition team. In addition to her numerous accolades in dance Alana has also achieved academic success and was the Salutatorian for South Texas ISD World Scholars 2026.

"Dancentre has not only been a place where I can express my passion, but also a place that I can call my second home. Late nights where I should have been studying for exams were spent on the marley floor, dancing my heart out. I will never forget all the memories at Dancentre that helped shape who I am today. In the fall, I will be attending Point Park University in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I will be pursuing a double major in dance and psychology. Because of my time spent at this dance studio, I feel prepared for the changes that will be coming my way. Thank you to my Dancentre family for constantly supporting me!"
