“Since 2016, our family has grown with the Rio Grande Valley community and found a sincere home away from home. UTRGV and the RGV as a whole gave us the resources and support to pursue higher education and prepare for a career after college. We are grateful to UTRGV for this heartfelt recognition and for paving the way for our success [...] Our futures will always be tied to UTRGV and the incredible community that has its back. 📢 Event Update: Postponement Notice
Due to inclement weather, the volunteer events scheduled for MLK Day of Service on January 15, 2024, have been postponed. Stay tuned for further details as we work on rescheduling the events.
We appreciate your understanding and commitment to making a positive impact in our community.
The "Family of the Year" essay contest invites students to express gratitude to family members for their invaluable support and guidance during the college journey. The contest celebrates the profound impact of familial support, honoring students' reflections and acknowledging the crucial role families play in their academic and personal growth. The top three families will be invited to the UTRGV Homecoming Game on Saturday, February 17th, 2024.
The Family of the Year will be seated courtside and recognized during the basketball game. The deadline for the submissions is January 29, don't miss out on the opportunity to honor your family and celebrate their ongoing support in your academic journey!
The Center for Student Involvement will be closed from December 25 to January 1 for Winter Break. We will resume operations on Tuesday, January 2, 2024. V's Up ✌️🧡!
