Jrotc cadets at today’s Night of Ligjts parade

JROTC cadets and Key Club members gathered to write Christmas cards for service members who will be away from their loved ones during the holidays.

Thank you to the staff and students of Economedes High school for participating in today’s Veterans Day celebrations. The Key Club and JROTC students joined in on constructing our first “Wall of Honor”. These are pictures of friends and family members in the Jaguars family. We thank them for their service and sacrifice to this great nation. The student council also had a special breakfast and amazing performances from the Mariachi, Orchestra and Choir. Thank you to our principal Mr Mata for the wonderful tributes to our Veterans.

Jaguars Team 1 & 2 competed in the Roma Raider competition in Falfurrias today. A lot of sweat was left at La Copa Ranch. Good job, Get some rest and see you on Monday.

October is National Bullying Awareness month, JROTC cadets and Key Club members gathered this afternoon to bring awareness. October 20 is Unity Day. Students were asked to wear and share Orange to share unity for kindness, acceptance and inclusion and send a visible message that no child should ever experience bullying.

VFW Post 12178 Adjutant, Clarice De La Fuente visited with a group of students and JROTC cadets today. She wanted to send a special Thank You to those who assisted in making the Buddy Poppy poster and donation can.

Raider practice Monday and Tuesday

Congratulations to the Drill Team for competing in their first Drill Meet. drill Team was lead by cadet Robert Plata.

Our mighty PT team competed in their very first competition. They did an amazing job and left the track on Fire 🔥.

Mixed Color Guard team competed today in their first Skills Meet Competition for 2021-2022 at Edinburg North. Color Guard team was lead by Cadet Rosa Contreras.

Only second day of practice and two more next week before competition. These kids are giving it their all. Wish them luck next week when we travel to Falfurrias for our first Raider competition.

Cadets were trying out their new boots in preparation for Raider training this coming week.

A change of pace for the Jaguars Battalion this week. Physical Readiness Training was a little different this week, It was a tough workout but these Jaguars 🐆 are always up for a Challenge.

Today the LET 2&3 cadets were learning how to do a uniform inspection. All In All it was a good uniform inspection day, just need to make sure brass stays free of fingerprints and keep the hair styles tamed or short. Alpha and HQ Companies leading the way!

Congratulations to our JEHS Jaguars football team for tonight’s win. Our JROTC cadets did an amazing job in the opening ceremony with the Color Guard and Flag Detail. Our Sabe Guard shined in the halftime Royal Court Presentation
