🤠✨ The Western Gold Rush! ✨🤠

Today we kicked off the 2026–2027 school year with our first pep rally of the year! Our Bobcat Orchestra students came ready to show their spirit and dressed up for the occasion! 🎶🐾

We love seeing our students represent the Bobcat Orchestra with so much energy and pride!

The 2025-2026 year is in the books, and it flew by.

I’m still in awe of everything we accomplished together.

This year we:
• Placed 9 members into All-Region Orchestra
• Earned Sweepstakes for both Symphony and String Orchestra
• Performed our Halloween, Christmas, and Star Wars concerts
• Qualified 28 students for State Solo & Ensemble
• Had the honor of hearing Agustín Hadelich perform with the Houston Symphony

There are no words for how grateful I am for our students. This program exists because of you. You are the heart of it. Thank you for valuing what classical music brings to your education and for seeing the lasting value it will bring to your future.

Mr. Cantu, Mrs. Lara, Mr. Gutierrez, Mr. Lopez, and Mr. Martinez — I couldn’t build this without you.
Mr. Rogers, thank you for your guidance and for being 100% committed to bringing out the best in our Symphony Orchestra.
Band staff, thank you for your support in Symphony. Those straight 1s don’t happen without you.
