1st official therapy sesh. It was uncomfortable, a little painful, but I definitely tried💪🏼 I can only bend my knee 23° right now, goal is 30° by Friday🤞🏼Let's Go!!!
I had surgery on my right knee today. My meniscus tear was cleaned up, and I had 50% of my cartilage replaced where my patella is. My recovery will be between 2 to 3 months, and then the left knee is next. It sucks, BUT the lesson that I can share with everyone is LISTEN TO YOUR BODY! Don't let any trainer, instructor, coach, or anyone around you push you because they think they know better. Only you know your body---listen to it, modify, rest, adjust, do whatever you need to do so you can continue doing what you love🖤💪🏼

So I have to hit pause on running or any kind of high-impact workouts due to injuries.Yup, no more 5ks or HIIT workouts. To say I'm frustrated is an understatement. Movement has always been my outlet, my therapy, my joy.
But this setback is a new challenge that’s forcing me to redefine what fitness means for me. I'm exploring lower-impact options, focusing on mobility, strength, and healing. It’s not the path I expected, but it’s still a path forward.
Fitness isn't just about intensity — it's about consistency, adaptability, and taking care of your body in every chapter. This is just a new chapter for me, and I’m determined to keep showing up.
