As we near the end of Autism Awareness Month, may we be reminded that Awareness needs to continue. This morning our Huddle was honored to have Pastor David Rodriguez from First United Baptist Church share his son's story. His challenges, the way they witnessed God work in him and how we should pour into individuals on the spectrum and let God's love shine through. We later presented Truman Elementary with a playground communication board that will benefit non-speaking students overcome challenges and hopefully open the opportunity for conversation to happen where Awareness and Acceptance can continue throughout the year. It was a very blessed FCA Friday.

Tomorrow is the last Friday in April and soon Autism Awareness Month will be a thing of the past. BUT it shouldn't be! We need to spread awareness ALL YEAR LONG 💛💙 Join us for FCA at 8:30 in room 503. Bring a friend & take the pledge 😊

Many people are involved in shaping the life of someone with Autism. This can include teachers, para-professionals, therapists, counselors , peers and their families--BE A PART OF THAT TEAM!!
