We have a super amazing Case Study Competition for you all to enter! 🏆
This competition focuses on the Lodging 🏨 and Restaurant 🍽 branches of Hospitality. Teams will be acting as managers in charge of revamping their underperforming locations, and presenting their plan of action to a panel of judges. We encourage everyone to join and grow their research, presentation, communication, and interpersonal skills while gaining a valuable experience that can be added to your resumes! 📃
🗓 We will be discussing the details of the competition in our meeting next Tuesday, if you'd like to enter, please send an email with the names of your team members to [email protected] by November 14th!

Howdy HOST Club! 🌤️🍍🤠
If you were at the meeting either on zoom or in person with us on Tuesday, then you know about ALIS- The Americas Lodging Investment Summit happening in January, and how the HOST Club will be sending a few members to attend this amazing conference, all expenses paid! David and Sam shared their experiences, how they were working at the conference while also being able to attend the screenings, and how they were paid $17 per hour. Cha-ching! So if you're interested make sure you meet the following criteria:

✅ 2.5 GPA
✅ Good standing with the University
✅ Active member

✅ Including why you'd be a good fit

🎓Keep in mind that those who go are representing the HOST Club and UTRGV, and must act accordingly at all times while attending ALIS.

To beat the heat, the HOST Club will be having a fundraiser selling hot dogs, drinks, and popsicles!🌭🥤🍦
Come by (and buy) this Thursday 9/21/22 from 12-4PM outside EMAGC!

✅️HOST Club members can help with the fundraiser and earn points by volunteering with us to help sell! If you can't make it but still want to help, spread the word and tell your friends to come grab a bite to eat and cool down with a popsicle 🧊

📍The fundraiser will be held at the BBQ pit outside of EMAGC ( #40 on the UTRGV map) If you need any help finding us, reach out! We're more than happy to help 🧡
