The unveiling ceremony was held at the Bioethics Institute.

Edinboro paid tribute to the late faculty member Dr. James Drane, with a student-designed portrait of the longtime professor and leading mind of bioethics.

Olivia Sutton, an undergraduate illustration student, unveiled her portrait of Dr. Drane Thursday in the Benjamin Wiley Arts and Sciences Center

James F. Drane, a member of the founding generation of bioethicists, passed away on April 17 in Edinboro, Pennsylvania at the age of 93. He was a prolific writer, internationally recognized scholar, and trusted friend.
