✨Our Noche Latina events wrap up next week! Each school’s event has been unique, but we’ve enjoyed- learning about butterflies migrating to Mexico, painting our faces for Carnival, painting like Frida Kahlo, creating a rainforest, and shopping in the Mercado! 🦋🎨🌴🍊Muchas ¡gracias! to our amazing Spanish Wonder Lab team for making it all happen!💜

🖌️Painting is creative and fun, but it can also be a workout for little bodies! Painting on an easel or vertical surface encourages larger arm movements, engages different muscles, and helps develop the hand stability needed for everyday skills. 🤚🏼

Pre-K B’s tower has gone through a few exciting transformations over the past months. It first began as a holiday tree. The class painted the boxes green and added festive decorations. After the holidays, they gave it new life by turning it into a “high-rise” apartment building for their classroom stuffed animals. The children cut out doors and windows, painted each level a different color, and used it as a fun home during playtime. Later, when they began learning about bees and pollinators, the tower transformed once again—this time into a beehive! The class painted it in shades of yellow, brown, and gold, added egg carton honeycombs, and created bees in the art center. This beehive became part of a larger study on pollinators, with many hands-on centers to explore and learn from!
