Thank you Mini Me Sports for making movement fun! 👏💪

Mini Me Sports is a childhood sports enrichment program for kids 2.5 to 5 years old & introduces the basics of sports and the importance of being active. Our students practiced all kinds of movement through activities and challenges, and had lots of fun while doing it!

For four years, Ms. Joan has taught yoga to each of our classes, helping our students develop their gross motor skills, emotional regulation, and confidence. She brings a sense of calm and care that leaves our students so excited for “Yoga Wednesday” every week!

Cal has done it all, from working as an infant teacher and supporting our preschool classrooms, to serving as an Assistant Director and now our Director! Cal is an important and uplifting source of support for all our students, staff, and teachers. We truly couldn’t do it without them!

Kindergarten readiness can show up in everyday moments, not just big milestones. A few signals to notice:

1. They’re building confidence to try things independently. Examples: walking into a room first, asking for help, or giving something new a try.

2. They’re starting to recognize the letters in their name, even if they’re not reading just yet.

3. They’re showing care and responsibility at home. This could include things like helping pack a bag, feeding a pet, putting away toys, or getting through part of their routine with a little more ease.

Every child grows at their own pace - and readiness looks different for every family. Their preschool teachers can be a great partner in noticing strengths, celebrating progress, and helping you think through what comes next.
