Dear Edgewood Middle School Families,

We are excited to welcome our students back to Edgewood Middle School on Monday, August 31st! Our EDMS staff is ready for an amazing first day and an incredible school year filled with opportunities for our students to Engage, Empower, and Elevate!

Doors Open: 7:45 AM
School Dismissal: 2:45 PM
Bus Transportation: Families, please be sure to check the HCPS website, https://www.infofinderi.com/ifi/?cid=HCPS3HATZU1H2, for your student’s most up-to-date bus stop and pick-up time before the first day of school. Bus 703 will arrive 10 minutes earlier than schedule during morning pickup.
Student Arrival: To help us maintain a safe and orderly arrival, parents/guardians will not be permitted to walk students to their classrooms. Our EDMS staff will be throughout the building to welcome students and help them find their classrooms, lockers, and other locations as needed. We’ve got them!
Parent Drop-Off & Pick-Up: Please follow the designated parent traffic pattern (car riders) during arrival and dismissal. We ask for everyone’s patience, cooperation, and attention to staff directions as we work to keep our students, families, and staff safe. Please allow additional time during the first few days as everyone becomes familiar with arrival and dismissal routines (please see image).

We encourage all of our RAMS to arrive ready to learn, connect, grow, and make the most of every opportunity. Whether you are returning to EDMS or joining our RAMS family for the first time, we are so glad you are here!

Families, thank you for your continued partnership and support. We look forward to working together to make this an engaging, empowering, and elevating year for every student.

Have a GREAT first day of school, RAMS!

Welcome back to Edgewood Middle School—where greatness grows!

Dear Edgewood Middle School Families,

As we kick off a new school year, the Edgewood Middle School PTSA is excited to support our students, teachers, and staff—and we need your help!

There are two easy ways you can help make a difference at Edgewood Middle School.

JOIN THE EDGEWOOD MIDDLE SCHOOL PTSA!

Did you know that parents, guardians, family members, AND students can join the PTSA?

Joining is one of the easiest ways to support Edgewood Middle School. Proceeds from PTSA memberships go directly back to our school to support students, staff, activities, programs, and other needs throughout the year.

And the best part? There is NO commitment required! Joining does not mean you have to attend meetings, volunteer, or take on additional responsibilities. Simply becoming a member helps support our school!

JOIN THIS WEEK & YOU COULD WIN!

Anyone who signs up for the PTSA this week will be entered into a gift card raffle!

HELP US REACH 50 MEMBERS!
If we have 50 people join the PTSA by the end of Back to School Night on Thursday, August 27, the PTSA will provide FREEZE POPS FOR THE ENTIRE SCHOOL—STUDENTS AND STAFF!

Every membership counts toward our goal, including student memberships, so consider joining as a family!

https://fspta-00012828.givebacks.com/shop
HELP US STOCK THE STAFF LOUNGE!

We would also love to welcome our amazing Edgewood teachers and staff back by filling the staff lounge with snacks, drinks, and classroom essentials!

We are asking our EMS families and community members to consider donating:
🍿 Snacks & grab-and-go treats
🥤 Drinks
🧻 Tissues
🧼 Disinfecting wipes
🫧 Hand sanitizer
✏️ Pencils

We’ve created an Amazon Wish List to make donating quick and easy. Even one item makes a difference!

BRING A DONATION TO BACK TO SCHOOL NIGHT!
Prefer to shop on your own? Donations can also be brought to Back to School Night on Thursday, August 27. A donation bin will be set up near the PTSA table for families to drop off items.

Whether you join the PTSA, donate an item, or do both, your support helps us start the year strong and lets our Edgewood Middle School students and staff know how much our community supports them.

Thank you for helping the Edgewood Middle School PTSA make a difference!

Go Rams!
