Here is video of Union Pacific’s BIG BOY 4014, the world’s largest and most powerful steam engine visiting the east coast for the first time to celebrate America 250.

This Big Boy is one of 25 built. This one was built in 1941 and was retired in 1961. It was rebuilt and restored for America 250 as it tours the nation. 4014 is the only Big Boy still in operation.

Edgewood Media family, please help us help one of our own.

Berenisse is a member of the Edgewood Media program family and has her career tech certificate in Multimedia. She was not able to finish school her senior year due to the birth of her son. He is now a year old, and through no fault of their own, Berenisse and her son are homeless.

In the last few weeks (and even since becoming homeless), Berenisse was able to earn her high school diploma. She has started drivers’ ed and has started a new part time job. She is one driven lady!

Although they are receiving help from local programs and WIC, it’s no secret that finding and securing a home can be difficult and costly. A few teachers and I have been assisting her through this transitional time, and we would like to help her get a leg up on paying for rent and finding furnishings. Hence the GoFundMe!

Help us thank these three for their tireless and passionate service to the Buckeye Local School District, their legacies live on in the hearts and minds of all their former students.
