We will be hosting a food drive at our Back To School Bash for one of our community partners, The The Hope Center of Maryland. They provide some of our students weekend meal bags throughout the year.
For every box donated, you will be entered into a drawing for a $25 Visa gift card along with a $25 Ross gift card.

Bartenfelder Sanitation had a contest and our very own Ms. Julia Wilkins win. Below is the post announcing her as the winner. 👏👏

🍎 We finally picked our winner!

We honestly didn't expect this to be as hard as it was. We received so many nominations for some really amazing teachers throughout Harford County, and every time we thought we had made a decision, we'd read another one and start all over again.

After a LOT of back and forth, we're excited to announce that our $500 Classroom Shopping Spree is going to…

🎉 Julia Wilkins, a 7th grade teacher at Edgewood Middle School! 🎉

Julia's nomination was actually pretty simple, and I think that's part of why we kept coming back to it. She was described as hardworking, kind, patient, and a teacher who always shows up for her kids.

Thank you SO much to everyone who sent in a nomination. We really did read them all, and choosing one teacher was incredibly hard. There are a lot of really good people teaching our kids here in Harford County, and we wish we could have picked more than one.

Every week during the school year, The HOPE Center of Maryland's Beyond Blessings Program provides hundreds of children throughout Harford County with kid-friendly, nutritious weekend meal bags. For many students, these bags help bridge the gap between school meals on Friday and breakfast on Monday, ensuring they don't have to face the weekend hungry.

As our program continues to grow, so does the need for community support. That's why we're inviting you to join us for our Fall Bingo Fundraiser! Every ticket purchased helps us continue providing food and hope to local children and families who need it most.

Come enjoy an evening filled with laughter, cash prizes, door prizes, great food, and friendly competition—all while making a real difference right here in our community.
