Hey parents and other caregivers of young people: Edgewater Books is throwing a summer party for kiddos on Sunday, July 19, and you're all invited! The fun takes place from 1 to 3 p.m., and includes a performance by Gerald Robinson Magic at 2 p.m., story time from local authors, and a Buy One, Get One Free offer from Happy Cones! If you've got a kid who reads, swing by the bookshop any day to pick up one of their Summer Book Bingo cards. Fill it out by July 19 to claim a prize from the treasure chest. We hope to see lots of you here on July 19!

The Summer Food Service Program is back, starting tomorrow, June 2!

All kids and teens (ages 1–18) are welcome for free meals at any of the sites below — no sign-up or paperwork needed.

Arvada West High School: until June 25
Eiber, Lumberg and Patterson Elementary Schools: until July 31
(No meals on June 19 or July 3)
Lunch: 11:30 a.m. – 12:30 p.m.
