Today I had the pleasure of walking through the halls of the Maryland Senate Office and the General Assembly speaking with Delegates about the need for funding for early childhood education, childcare, small business growth and development. I met with a few but Delegate Shaneka Henson shared my passion for Early Childhood Education and childcare as a whole. We discussed staffing concerns, how federal and state funding could support private childcare programs instead of putting younger children in already overwhelmed elementary schools and more. Watch out you may see my name on a future ballot 🤔 but today was a great day! &ELC goes to Senate
