No school tomorrow, so we celebrated today!

We wrapped up our Walk-a-Thon by celebrating our students, awarding prizes, sharing our $6,779 total, and, of course, pieing the teachers!

Thank you all again for helping our students and our school!!

We walked. We ran. We made it work!

What started as a rainy-day challenge turned into a pretty amazing Walk-a-Thon! Our Cyclones took over the school, walking, jogging, and running laps with their classmates!

We’re so grateful to everyone who helped make the day happen! From staff and volunteers to our special guests from the JOCO Fire Dept & Johnson County, KS Sheriff's Office & also New City Church! And a HUGE thank you to all of our families, friends, and community members who supported our students through donations! Special thanks to Edgerton Parks & Recreation at The Greenspace for the incredible goodie bags & to Walmart for gift card donations!

We’re excited to share that the Walk-a-Thon raised $6,779 for Edgerton Elementary! These funds will help support the programs, experiences, and extras that make EE such a special place for our students.

And of course… we have some prizes to hand out! You are welcome to join us today at 2:45 to celebrate with a short assembly

Thank you, Cyclones, for showing us how to FUEL THE STORM! 🌪️💜

Walk-a-thon 2026 💜🌪️

09/26/2026

We walked. We ran. We made it work!

The wet weather today challenged us to get creative, but our Indoor Walk-a-Thon was a success!

Students took over the hallways, walking, jogging, and running laps with their classmates!

We also had visits from some pretty special guests: Superintendent Brian Huff, the Johnson County, KS Sheriff's Office, and the Johnson County Consolidated Fire District No. 1 - Kansas

A huge thank-you to everyone who helped make today happen - and to our students for bringing the energy 💜

We’re not done yet!

There is still one week left to fundraise! Keep sharing your 99Pledges pages and talking to family and friends. Every donation helps support the students, teachers, programs, and experiences that make EE special.
