This morning we took off for Oak Harbor to participate in the District Ag Soils contest. Here they evaluated soils, determined slope, and were quizzed on soils knowledge.
Tate, Blaine, Wyatt, Izzic and Kase were our participants.

Happy National Teach Ag Day to our very own, Mrs. Manning!
Our chapter would not be anywhere close to where we are today without you and your family and their constant support. You have left your mark on each and every student who has walked through the ag room doors.
So, Mrs. Manning even though we do not tell you enough, thank you. Thank you for the countless life lessons in and out of the classroom. Thank you for teaching us how to be comfortable in the uncomfortable. Thank you for supporting every student 110%. Thank you for managing to get us home safe every time no matter how stressful the trip was. Thank you for acting as a 2nd mom to most of our members. Thank you for every laugh, every cry, every awful dad joke, and every memory. Our members are beyond lucky to have you as their ag teacher!

We are grateful to where you have lead us and looking forward to where you have yet to take us on our futures.

This year we want to celebrate a huge accomplishment of one of our own Edgerton FFA members as he will be representing Edgerton and the Ohio FFA as he plays for the National FFA band! He has officially accepted his position playing the trombone during the 99th National FFA convention at the end of October in Indianapolis. We are so proud of his hard work to get to this point! Congratulations Bowen Reed!
Come support the Williams County Youth at the 2026 Williams County Fair! Tonight Edgerton Marching band along side other Williams county bands will be hosting an amazing performance!

The FFA barn is full of incredible projects from the county FFA chapters. And the animal barns are filled with the projects kids have worked all summer on.

Our chapter is grateful to be part of an amazing and supportive community that makes giving back easy! Come see us October 3rd at the BIG Little Fall Fest!

If there’s something happening around Edgerton, don’t be surprised if you find FFA somewhere in the middle of it.

We saw that at the Truck Pulls this summer, when FFA members were serving up sausage sandwiches while the FFA Alumni kept the curly fries coming. But that’s just one example. Throughout the year, these students have raised money for the Bulldog Bag Program and local families, packed Thank-a-Farmer snack bags, helped prepare weekend meals for local students, and found plenty of other ways to give back.

The students themselves have said that their chapter receives so much support from this community that they love having opportunities to return it.

On October 3, they’ll be out in the community again, joining us as a vendor at the BIG little Fall Fest.

Be sure to stop by the Edgerton FFA booth, say hello, and support some young people who are already learning that being part of a community also means showing up for it.
