Starting Point Child Development Center

We want to share an important update with our Starting Point families. After much prayer and consideration, Starting Point Child Development Center will close on December 31, 2025.

This decision was not made lightly, but comes after ongoing staffing challenges and financial strain. We’re deeply grateful for the families who have entrusted us with their children and for the opportunity to serve our community over the years.

We had a super fun week learning about our community heroes! We loved seeing the Bethel Fire Department fire truck and Perquimans County Emergency Services ambulance, hearing about forest rangers and meeting Smokey the Bear with N.C. Forest Service Perquimans county, and seeing a Sheriff’s car with Perquimans County Sheriff's Office! Thank you to all our community heroes that took time to come see us!

Some may argue, but Easter has some of the best candy! What’s your favorite?

Yesterday we planted “lollipop seeds” and they grew while we napped! 🍭🍭

We also used edible paint and Peeps to stamp some fun designs!🐥🐥

Oh, and we had bunny shaped cinnamon rolls for breakfast! 🐰🐰
