Families of First Graders and Veterans: Mark your calendars!

BIG news.....HUGE news.....Universal pre-k is now a reality for us! This means that ALL Chowan County children who will be 4 years old by August 31st ARE ELIGIBLE for FREE Pre-K at White Oak School!!! No income qualifications, no student need qualifications....ALL children can attend! We will be conducting more registration and screening events on June 30th and July 13th. You can pick up an application from White Oak and we will set the date and time for your screening appointment. Completed application packets MUST include the child’s birth certificate, shot records, proof of residence with parent's name(light bill, water bill, rent or lease agreement) and proof of income for one month. Spots will be filled on a first come-first served basis. Help us spread the word! We can't wait to have more little Cubbies join us at !

Awards Day 2021 (Girbach/Bunch 1st grade)

On Tuesday we got to see lots of cool vehicles and talk to different people about their careers! The kids loved seeing all the “big trucks” and getting some ideas of filter jobs right here in our community!

What a fun day!!!!
