Technology Drop-off/Locker Clean-out

All Eden JH students (6th-8th grade) will be required to turn in technology devices that were issued during the school closure. These items include:

• Chromebooks (cases and chargers)
• Calculators (and chargers)
• Hotspots or routers

During posted times, students need to come to the backdoor of the HS (by Mrs. Jonie’s room) so they can turn in technology items that they were issued during the school closure.

After turning in technology, students will be allowed to clean out their lockers in the school, gym, and fieldhouse.

Parents/students will be financially responsible for any technology that is not turned in and/or not in good working condition.

Class of 2020
Graduation Ceremony
Location: Sanders Field
Date: May 22 @ 7:30pm

Graduate Information
• Graduates need to arrive at the parking lot behind the high school no later than 7:00pm. Students need to be dressed for graduation with cap and gown in hand. Senior sponsors and Coach Odom will be there to help make sure everyone “looks good” and is ready to go. We will also use this time to explain to the graduates how the ceremony is going to work.
• Processional will begin at 7:30pm – Graduates will enter the south gate and proceed to their chairs for the ceremony.
• At the conclusion of the ceremony (recessional), graduates will leave Sanders Field through the south gate. At that time, graduates will be required to leave the school grounds. Graduates and their families will not be allowed to congregate on school grounds after the ceremony.

Family Information
• Graduates can invite up to five (5) family members to the ceremony. Tickets can be picked up in the high school office.
• Parking will be available on the west and north sides of Sanders Field.
• Gates into the stadium will open at 7:00pm.
• Family members will be able to enter Sanders Field through the west gate.
• Family members need to arrive together so that they can all be seated at the same time.
• Upon entrance, attending family members will be screened via questioning by a school employee for any or worsening signs or symptoms of COVID-19. Those with signs or symptoms will be excluded from the ceremony.
• Family members will have assigned seating on the home side. Seating will be determined through a random drawing before the ceremony.
• Family members will be required to sit together during the ceremony.
• At the conclusion of the ceremony, families will be required to leave Sanders Field. Please maintain appropriate social distancing as you exit the stadium. Graduates and their families will not be allowed to congregate on school grounds after the ceremony.
• This ceremony is not open to the public. All guests will be required to have a ticket.
• No restrooms or concession stand will be available.
• Please stay in your assigned seating area until the conclusion of the ceremony.
