I have a second job. When I take a break from squirrel duty, I clean my siblings eyeballs. It is my job and my job alone. Mom needs to stop touching Merri's face.

Bliss. Her name suits her. That smile! You would never know that this girl had been dumped, abandoned, or something. Five years ago she and Merri came into our lives after being found in rural Indiana. Bliss was so sick. Two tick diseases, skin, eye and ear infections. When she was found her little half ear was just hanging by a tiny piece of skin and also infected. She was terrified and completely shut down. She spent 8 months on the back corner of my bed. Couldn't walk her, couldn't even get her outside to sit in the grass. This is her now! She is our best comeback story of ALL the beagles that have come through this house and seeing that smile fills my heart.
