You know the SEF Interns have become an important part of our community when the students dress up as them for “Dress like a teacher” day 🥰

Wow. What a wonderful day celebrating the countries & cultures of our 2025-2026 SEF interns! 🇸🇻🇨🇱🇪🇸🇨🇴

They said it best when they introduced their final dance: One Team, One Heartbeat. Fifteen young people from Chile, Colombia, El Salvador, and Spain came together in a new home with a shared purpose: to teach, to learn, and to grow. Rather than representing individual cultures, their World Cup–inspired dance reflected the excitement of building something together, adapting, and becoming a family. Through movement, we show that no matter where we come from, we are one team.

We are so proud to be part of this wonderful school and the amazing community it creates. Congratulations, EHSI! ❤️🦅🖤

We’re excited to share that Eagle Heights Spanish Immersion has been named a National Gold Star School® by the National Association of Elementary School Principals (NAESP)! ⭐️ The recognition honors excellence in leadership, continuous improvement and a deep commitment to supporting every scholar.

Out of the 57 schools selected nationwide, Eagle Heights was the only school in Minnesota to receive this recognition. Congratulations to the dedicated students, staff and families who make Eagle Heights so special! Your care inspires learning every day, and we're proud to see that reflected in this honor!

Kinder Night was a huge success thanks to these amazing interns! They helped families make their way through the halls of Eagle Heights, visit classrooms, ride the bus, and get a Class of 2039 photo! Gracias, interns!! And welcome Kinder families!

Over the weekend the SEF interns had the chance to try a new sport…curling! 🥌 One of many winter activities they are getting to experience during their time in MN!
