Hennepin Gateway to College is a unique District 287 Area Learning Center that offers a second chance for:
-high school students who have not earned a high school diploma (ages 16-20)
-high school students who are currently behind in their high school credits
Through this program, students will earn dual credit by completing their high school diploma while earning college credits from Hennepin Te

Social Studies students begin this year's Government Oppression unit by reading A Place Where Sunflowers Grow, a story about a young girl's experience in an Japanese American internment camp. Like the main character in the story, Gateway students created paintings of what brings them joy during difficult times.
