Members, sponsors, donors and volunteers make a difference in the lives of at-risk and underprivileged kids in the communities across Minnesota. Over the past 30 years, the Minnesota Chapter has contributed over $4,000,000 to over 40 organizations benefiting children in our community, children with health needs (medical, chemical dependency, physical or mental abuses) Education and Skill Developm
ent needs (Scholarships, formal training, arts, crafts, music) and basic welfare needs (food, clothing and shelter). Local charities that we support include: Bolder Options, Minnesota Adult & Teen Challenge, Fellowship of Christian Athletes, Northern Star Scouting, YMCA Camp Menogyn, Children’s Cancer Research Fund, Make-A-Wish, Newborn Foundation, and many others. The Minnesota Chapter is run completely by volunteers and all net proceeds are distributed to these worthy children’s causes. Our Chapter is one of over 30 NFL Alumni Chapters in major cities around the country and the NFL Alumni Association is a 501(c) 3 Charity; contributions to our events are tax deductible (ID #59-1782262).
