The last day of school is upon us! 🥳😢

Per Eden Lake tradition, tomorrow the 5th graders & their teachers will do the “Walk of Honor” parade outside on the playground blacktop with the Eden Lake Alumni Senior Class of 2026.

Please arrive at the playground parking lot at 9:15am. Guests will not need to check in at the front office for this event since it is outside. Parking will be crowded so carpool, bike or walk if possible.

Parents, grandparents, community members…all are welcome!

Bring your energy, signs, bubbles and fun!!

Because YOU donated to our Boosters fundraiser in the fall, we were able to gift $300 to each grade to put towards their end of the year celebrations (pizza parties, mementos, etc). We want the hard work of our students celebrated and do not want staff paying out of pocket for these things. Just another way that YOUR generosity is making a difference at our school! 🎉

The PTO is working on a comprehensive summary of how funds were spent this year. We feel it is important that the people who donated know how their funds were used. We also hope that that information will provide the community with peace of mind that past and future donations are being used responsibly to make our school a better place.

Let’s celebrate a great year at Eden Lake!

Join us as we celebrate an amazing school year with an evening of fun, food, and community!

📍 Eden Lake Playground

Enjoy delicious food from local food trucks, connect with other Eden Lake families, and celebrate the end of a wonderful year together! There will also be:

📘 Limited yearbooks available for purchase
🍧 Ice cream treats and more!

We encourage families to bike, walk, or park in the upper lots and walk down to the playground. Feel free to bring blankets or lawn chairs for your family’s comfort.

In the event of inclement weather, cancellation information will be shared via email, talking points, and our social media channels.

Today, we want to recognize the leaders of the Sunshine Committee at Eden Lake: Latasha Slinden and Megan Skogstad. The Sunshine Committee is a staff run group that is "dedicated to enhancing the morale, engagement, and well-being for EVERY staff member at Eden Lake." This year the PTO partnered with them to provide additional funding for their work including the amazing teacher appreciation celebrations they planned for this week. Thank you so much for all the time and energy you put into making this week special for our teachers.
