It was good to catch up with recent graduate Matthew Voss. He is a lead technician at Chopper City Powersports in Fridley. Chopper City is a Polaris dealership and we also have several current and past graduates working there as well. He was kind enough to drop off this donation from Chopper City for our program. Best of wishes to the growth of the company and celebrating Matthew's successes. Some exciting announcements are around the corner for Hennepin Technical Colleges Marine, Motorsports and Outdoor Power Equipment program soon. HTC is partnered with Polaris. Earn Polaris certifications and work on Polaris products as a student in the Marine, Motorsport and Outdoor Power Equipment program.
The National Marine Representatives Association (NMRA) is offering a $3,000 scholarship to an outstanding student pursuing education and a career in the marine trades. High school seniors, and college and vocational students are encouraged to apply. The application is at bit.ly/2021-NMRA-Scholarship and must be received by April 1, 2021.
