Goats, goats,goats! Great work everyone! Addie Heald was Reserve Overall Purebred!!! So many placed well in classes ALL DAY in both meat and dairy shows! It was also great to see our members that have SAE projects and exhibit through 4-H as well!! Ava Long did something incredible winning Champion Market AND Breeding on the 4-H side!!

Sunday was a great day for judging some quality livestock at the Iowa State Fair!

This was so cool! 2 of our Agri-Power FFA members teamed up with an Albia FFA member for the Goat Skill-a-thon! Wapello, Monroe and Mahaska 4-H represented!!!! They ended up 5th place! Congrats to Jaycee Long, Kason Appel and Jaylea Koffman! Jaylea and Kason were also 5th in the fitting contest!

Agri-Power made a statement in Ag Mechanics- Bryce Roquet was Champ Large Welding, Trace Hol was Champ restored Farm Equipment, 3rd for Spencer Brown in small welding and 4th for Tucker DeWild in Tractors. Reserve Dorset Advantage Ram for Trace Hol and a 2nd place finish for Kason Appel. I always seem to be laughing too hard from stories or shenanigans in the hog barn to take pictures...but that crew has worked their tails off for pen positions the last 2 days in both Breeding and Market. We judge Sunday...let MRS. APPEL KNOW IF YOU NEED A RIDE.

Elsie Antolik...Still Life Photography, 1st Place!
Oakley DeWitt...Champion Chi Heifer! Rabbit Show Team...ALL took home AT LEAST A RESERVE DIVISION CHAMPIONSHIP and our very own Sam Seddon took home the Sweepstakes Trophy in the Floriculture Division!!!

Today is in the books! Agri-Power FFA members had shows, showmanship, and check ins today. Tomorrow starts bright and early at 6:30 am!
