There is an upcoming blood drive at LCHS on September 2, 2026.

We encourage everyone who is able to donate to participate. The more donors we have, the larger the scholarship amount available from the American Red Cross for LCHS seniors.

Important: If you are donating and are not an employee of the school system, please check in with the High School Office when you arrive.

We are SO excited to welcome our students back tomorrow, August 13th, for the 2026–2027 school year! 🦁💜💛

Important reminders:

🚗 Arrival:
Doors will open each day at 7:30 a.m. Please do not drop students off prior to 7:30 a.m. Once you turn onto school property, please follow the designated traffic flow.
💜 Purple line: For vehicles with an elementary student.
💛 Yellow line: For all vehicles without an elementary drop-off.

🏫 Dismissal:
Dismissal will begin at 3:00 p.m. If your child is a car rider, please have your car tag clearly visible.

🚶 Walkers:
Students who walk home in the afternoons will be dismissed from the doors between the elementary school and high school, near the District Conference Room door. If you plan to pick up your student at these doors, please use the designated crosswalks in the parking lot.

💜💛 We ask for your patience during the first few days as everyone gets back into a routine. Thank you for helping us make arrival and dismissal as smooth and safe as possible!

The Inaugural Opening Day Games brought LCES, LCMS, LCHS, and District Staff together for a morning packed with friendly competition, big laughs, teamwork, and LOTS of fun! 🏆😅🙌

🥇 Congratulations to Lyon County Elementary — we are the FIRST-EVER Opening Day Games Champions! 🏆🎉

The trophy was definitely worth celebrating, but the real win was seeing our Lyon County family come together, cheer each other on, and show what it means to be ALL IN! 💜💛
