ECHS Volleyball is off to one of the best starts we’ve had in YEARS! Our girls are now 7-1 on the season—with tonight’s 3-0 win against rival Wetumpka at Wetumpka. Our JV came up a little short losing 1-2, but we are proud of them too. We have tough week ahead with some very strong competition (tonight included) and we are off to a GREAT start. I couldn’t be prouder as a coach. These girls took our task at hand and worked to get what we needed to do DONE! Let’s keep on rolling!

*On a somber note, please say a prayer for our injured Addison Patterson who went down tonight with a knee injury. We love her dearly and hope it isn’t too serious.

Way to go ladies!!! 🐾

Well the 13th annual Block Party Tournament is in the books! Our girls finished 2nd out of 8 teams today, going 5-1 on the day, losing to Prattville in the finals. We battled with injuries and changing the lineup right in the middle of the tournament, and our girls were able to push through and still keep winning right up until the champ game.

Thank you to the teams who came and played today! There were some great competitive games.

Thank you to all of the players and parents who helped out today—our JV players under the supervision and guidance of Coach Hall, worked from 8:00 am until 8:30 pm. Our parents filled the hospitality room with yummy treats and also helped carry things to EMS for the 2nd location. They worked concessions and supported us. We have parents who helped film and keep the book as well. It takes a village to run a tournament, and I truly appreciate my village. Thank you to the admin and bookkeeper of ECHS for being there today helping run things, and to the admin of EMS for letting us use their gym. I especially want to thank Coach Hall for handling everything today! We are all exhausted but it was a great day!
