Join us for a free picnic at Owens Park this Saturday (4/18)!!!! It's Global Youth Service Day so we are volunteering for local non profits and ending the day with a picnic sponsored by ECLIPSE!
Make sure to write Anna Hamer and Cynthia Koenigsberg in the "people you want to work with" section so that we can all work on the same project :)

Join us in Centennial 1704 tomorrow for our April meeting. We will be planning events for this year as well as voting for the exec board for next year! Open positions are: VP, secretary, and treasurer!

Community Connections Team Volunteer Opportunity

Marshfield Clinic knows that improving health and quality of life goes beyond the walls of the health care clinic.

Marshfield Clinic is recruiting Community Connections Team Community Health Workers (student and community volunteers) for the summer/fall term. Community Health Workers will meet with patients and connect them with community resources to meet basic needs (i.e. food, housing, clothing, etc.). Community Health Workers will be located in the Marshfield Clinic-Eau Claire center and gain valuable communication skills, critical thinking, and a deeper understanding of the broader side of health care. This is an opportunity to make a very real impact in the Eau Claire community.

Please note volunteers must commit to a full term of service (9 months) and a minimum of one 3-4 hour shift per week.

Application, background check, and immunization forms are ALL due by April 1, 2015 to begin in the summer.
