Thank you to our student teachers and education partners for attending the Spring 2026 Partners in Education Reception! We had a great evening celebrating our educators and the successful completion of another great semester. We are grateful for the continued support and partnership that make these experiences possible!

Yesterday, the Teacher Education Program and the Kinesiology Department hosted our first annual Physical Education, Adapted Physical Education and Health conference for area teachers. Thank you to everyone who made this happen, we are so excited to host this conference again in 2027!

UWEC Teacher Education hosted the Colby School District 7th graders last Thursday for their Day in The Life of a College Student field trip. We had a great time hosting you all- thank you to everyone who participated!

With new handouts for our Teacher Education departments, the College of Health and Human Sciences is ready to inspire future educators!

Dr. Boris Krichevsky, assistant professor of education studies, collaborated with the editorial staff of The Spectator to create a new column featuring op-eds on education written by students in his course ES 212: Exploring Schooling in Grades K–12. The column, “Perspectives in Pedagogy,” provides a space for future teachers to explore compelling issues and illuminate the pressing tensions that shape teaching and learning.
