We have two locations, (EC & Men.) Flexible Courses 7am-10pm and multiple degree options. Take one course or more and start/update your career!

Follow us to see jobs, trends and get started Mechatronics/Industrial Mechanics at Chippewa Valley Tech College The Mechatronics program (fka Industrial Mechanics) at CVTC is focused on flexibility and preparing people for great jobs often in the maintenance, repair of manufacturing, automated systems, machinery and general maintenance of a facility. We offer the following degrees:
Short term trai

ning in:
Electrical Maintenance, 1 semester
Mechanical Maintenance, 1 semester

These are within our:
Mechatronics Technician, 1 year program
Mechatronics Specialist, 2 year program. You can take a single course, we operate from two locations. Eau Claire we run Monday - Thursday, from 7AM-10PM, and Friday from 7AM-4PM. Hours are slightly reduced to 9PM and no at campus courses on Friday due to Covid restrictions currently in force for the Spring 2021 semester. Menomonie we run on various times and days to fit students and business demands. You can find about all offerings at:

We had a great impromptu meeting this past Thursday, where we made solid progress wrapping up the final adjustments to our club project and discussed key decisions for the upcoming Trunk or Treat event. Thanks to everyone who showed up and contributed!

👋 First, a huge welcome to all of our new Mechatronics students! You’ve made an incredible choice by joining this program, and we’re excited to have you on the team. Your future in automation, robotics, and control systems starts here—and it’s going to be awesome. 💪

📅 Upcoming Events & Highlights:

🛠️ Bob knocked it out of the park this week by creating a full schematic of our club’s pneumatic system using Automation Studio!

🔧 Rosa upgraded our hardware by replacing the barbed fittings with push-to-connect fittings—cleaner, faster, and easier to work with.

Just a reminder that tomorrow the campus will be closed for Professional Development Day. No classes or activities will take place. Enjoy the extra day!

The Career Fair is happening this Thursday, and it's a great opportunity to connect with employers in your field. Make sure:

🌴 Spring Break Announcement! 🌺

Attention students! Please mark your calendars for this year's Spring Break from March 24th to March 28th. The college will be closed during this period, giving everyone a well-deserved break.

Use this time to relax, recharge, and enjoy some time off from your studies. Whether you're planning a trip, catching up on sleep, or exploring new hobbies, make the most of this break!

🏃‍♂️ Volunteer at the Eau Claire Marathon! 🌟

Hey everyone! It's that time again—let's gear up to make a big splash at the Eau Claire Marathon. Last year was a huge success, and we're aiming to do even better this year!

📅 When & Where:

Saturday Setup: April 26th
Sunday Start Line Set-Up/Tear Down: April 27th, 6:00 AM - 10:00 AM at Madison Street Bridge
We're focusing our efforts on the "Sunday Start line Set-Up/Tear Down." Currently, there are 10 spots available, so let's fill those up quickly! The shift involves setting up the start line, managing corrals, cheering on runners, and eventually tearing down. It's a fun and active way to contribute!
