Road-offering season is upon us. Watch out for our friends just trying to get to the other side.

But- should you happen upon a beautiful being in the road who very recently didn’t make it, call me and we will see if they can be memorialized into something that will last ages.

Not a road offering, but the hide of my niece's first trophy from bear season. This has been sitting in a closet for YEARS.
Now what shall we craft?
Niece wants a coat-I love that she believes I can make something like that! I'll try anyway....

PS did you ever hear of "delayed implantation"? Mama bears will pause embryo development until growth conditions are perfect. Great work mama bears ♡

This poor, poor being ♡
After initial excitement at what we thought was a fresh road offering Coyote---we discovered a tight metal snare around their neck that surely was the cause of death.
My heart just doesn't comprehend how much some put into their hatred of others.
We did not claim this but did report it and there will be an investigation of sorts.
