Check out Professor Hannah Luedtke’s Online Summer 2021 HNRS 132.501 class Reproductive Justice! Some additional topics covered in this course are birth control, abortion, breastfeeding, sterilization, parenting and families, and gender. The class will look closely at how African American women and Indigenous families have been specifically targeted in controlling reproduction.

Hey friends! The honors program is having a great spooky season event!! Need some Halloween decorations so you can enter your room in the contest? Come to the Halloween craft event next Thursday at 7pm in bridgman basement 😊
See the creativity of your peers, get into the holiday spirit, and earn cool prizes by participating in the Honors Halloween Decorating Contest! Add your room to our virtual Living-Learning-Halloween-Community whether you’re in Bridgman or not! Spice up your room, snap some pics and send them to us via Instagram or email. The categories Honors students will be voting on the following categories; scariest, cutest, orange-est, and overall best. Photos are due By Friday, October 30th. Prizes will be announced the following week along with a showcase video of the participants submissions. Some prizes include tee-shirts, gift cards, other Honors gear. The grand prizes will be a lava lamp and a spooky giant foam spider!

This virtual apples-to-apples-esque card game night will be sure to provide fun times and funnier jokes. Check out our next Hanging with Honors event: Fun with Liquid Nitrogen. Presented by Dr. Erik Hendrickson, no matter what major you are, this demonstration will be sure to wow you! Join us on Tuesday, September 15th, or on Thursday, September 17th from 1-2 pm in the outdoor amphitheater on Garfield Avenue (near the bridge). Social distancing and masks will be mandated during this event. Come enjoy the weather, be entertained, and even learn a few things!
