"This began a series of interventions and studies that prove we can indeed change a person’s mindset from fixed to growth, and when we do, it leads to increased motivation and achievement. For example, 7th graders who were taught that intelligence is malleable and shown how the brain grows with effort showed a clear increase in math grades."

Brainology is an online interactive program in which middle school students learn about how the brain works, how to strengthen their own brains, and how to better approach their own learning. In the process they develop a growth mindset whereby they think of their intelligence as something they can....

The sponsors are Concordia University and the Wisconsin Association for Middle Level Education (WAMLE). The program addresses the actual concerns, interests, and needs of the participants. The focus is upon enhancing and improving middle level education in Wisconsin.
