FYI: We got a Philosophy Club Lock-In in the normal club room (Hibbert 605) at 7 pm! There will be free food, plus we are binge watching The Good Place and playing board games, card games and maybe Mario Kart? (Jury is still out on that one). Nevertheless, it's going to be a grand time for anyone who shows up tonight!

Mayday! Mayday! It's almost time to brace for impact for this week's Philosophy Club Meeting. Jokes aside, this week's topic is Philosophy of Bulls*** presented by current Vice President Stephen after a short presentation on the service learning project reflection. Hope to see you lot at tonight's meeting!

T-minus 7 hours until the next Philosophy Club Meeting, this week's topic is Philosophy of Apocalyptic Fiction, presented by Mr. President of the club himself, Liam! It will dig into the genre's implications, its general population in recent years, and how it spells and said as us as a society. Be there or be Zombied!

Just a friendly reminder, we co-sponsor a Menard Center called The Supreme Court and The Philosopher: How John Stuart Mill Shaped US Free Speech Protections. That is happening tomorrow from 5pm-6:30 pm (that's what the email says) in Centennial Hall Rm 1704, and there's a Zoom option if you can't come in person but still experience the event in some fashion. Be there or be square!

Tick -Tock: It's almost time for another Philosophy Club meeting. This week's topic is on Last and First Men (a book written by Olaf Stapledon as described in the image above) presented by Luke who is a good friend of yours truly but that's beside the point. The main point is that it's going to be a very interesting presentation and I hope to see you all there this week!

Simple and clean, it's almost time for another philosophy club meeting. The main topic is Last and First Men (a book released in 1930s and written by Olaf Stapledon as described in the image), presented by Luke, who may or may not be a friend of the current account owner. But in all seriously, it will be a very interesting presentation, so I hope to see you all there for this week's meeting!

This week's topic is Philosophy of Disagreement present by Vice President Stephen, who is also holding a book club, discussing On Liberty Chapter 4: Of the Limits to the Authority of Society Over the Individual at 4pm in Hibbard 605 (the usual club meeting). Hope to see you all at tonight meeting and the book club on Friday!

It's another Wednesday, meaning it's time for another philosophy club meeting tonight. This week's topic is Philosophy in the DCAU present by club secretary Addie and honestly, who doesn't love superhero stuff(although superhero fatigue is setting in now, but that's beside the point). Anyways, hope to see you all there tonight!

Well, it's Wednesday, so it's time for this week's post. This week is on the philosophy of Dionysus and Greek Tragedy present by Ruby, one of the fellow Club members in Philosophy Club. That sounds like a very interesting topic for this week 🤔
