The Jeanne Richie Memorial Puddle Jump is an annual 5k fun run/walk put on by Longfellow Elementary School. The team with the highest number of pre-registered runners/walkers will receive a “traveling trophy,” and their team name published in the Eau Claire Leader Telegram!

Good afternoon,
We really appreciate everyone's feedback and wanted to give an update on the race route. Depending on the severity of the storm and how much it rains, we may have to switch to an alternate race route. Tomorrow morning, prior to the race, our wonderful team will bike the route and send out an alert via Facebook. We will also make that announcement on the microphone to all of the racers prior to the start of the race. Please see below, our Flood Race Route. Note: It will be two laps.

Here is a photo of our planned race route. It will begin at Phoenix Park by the pavilion starting on Riverfront Terrace, loop around and end just past the starting line near the Chippewa River bridge!
REMINDER: Packet pickup is tomorrow, 4-6 at Longfellow Elementary School. If you can’t come tomorrow, it will be available on Saturday at 7:30am until just before the start of the race in Phoenix Park! :)
