CVTC Fire and EMS CVTC's Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) course prepares students for all aspects of emergency care in both medical and trauma situations.

This 5 credit course adheres to state and national standards. Students will gain knowledge and skills in the following areas in anatomy and physiology, patient assessment, fractures and dislocations, spinal injuries, soft-tissue wounds, and ambulance operations. CVTC has recently acquired a mobile ventilation prop, expanding our equipment inventory. This enables local fire departments to conduct ventilation training utilizing authentic building materials at a location convenient to them.
