Thank you to The Flower Cart in Niles for the donation of flowers for Plant dissection. We were able to dissect flowers with different structures and identify their different parts.

This is what we call Forest School! It allows the kids to get outside, learn about nature in a hands-on way, and get some fresh air in the process.

Our class learned to hand knit scarves using loop-it yarn. They made one for themselves and then made an additional 20 to donate to foster kids for Christmas.

Michigan History Emphasis: APPLES
Michigan is called the "variety" state. Michigan grows over 200 varieties of apples. We sampled 25 different varieties of apples from local orchards while learning about hybrids and how they're grown.

The new school year has begun! We started our year with a worship on how our attitudes affect our actions. We used eggs to demonstrate that if our attitude is good on the inside, it comes out on the outside. We painted the eggs and then saw how beautiful they became on the inside..
