The Project SEARCH Transition Program is a unique, business-led, one year school-to-work opportunity that leads to increased employment outcomes for young adults with disabilities. The Project SEARCH model involves an extensive period of training and career exploration, innovative adaptations, long-term job coaching, and continuous feedback from teachers, job coaches, and employers. As a result, a

t the completion of the training program, students with significant intellectual disabilities are employed in nontraditional, complex and rewarding jobs. The presence of a Project SEARCH High School Transition Program can bring about long-term changes in business culture that have far-reaching positive effects on attitudes about hiring people with disabilities and the range of jobs in which they can be successful. 2016-2017 was the inaugural year for the new Project SEARCH site - Mayo Clinic Health System Eau Claire Luther Campus, and we have graduated 33 students from the program since that time.

What an incredible night with so many beautiful memories! 💙 Project SEARCH - Eau Claire celebrated 10 years of employment success, friendships, partnerships and family. Thankful Thursday! Thank you Phyllis, Holly, Don and everyone at the Information Desk for hosting an intern 3rd rotation. Sadie has been able to learn how transport patients, answer phones, and interact with patients. Sadie has enjoyed working with everyone at the desk. Thankful Thursday! Thank you Betty, Cathy, Ebony, Tera and everyone in Dermatology for hosting an intern for 3rd rotation. Hope has been able to use Epic to check/recycle patient information, turn over rooms, and putt together patient folders. Hope has enjoyed working with everyone and increasing her computer skills.
