Better Men, Better Lives. Delta Sigma Phi - Eta Omicron is a social fraternity on the UW-Eau Claire Campus.

Through mixers with other Greek organizations, brotherhood activities, and philanthropy events, the brothers of Delta Sigma Phi obtain valuable leadership experience transferable to outside world occupations, long-lasting friendships, and a rewarding college experience.

Great weekend to be a Delta Sig! We were invited to witness Delta Sig’s Iota Phi chartering at the University of Minnesota on Saturday, and were able to do our part to cleanup the streets of Eau Claire on Sunday.

Today we celebrate our final graduate from last semester. Virashan Nathan wasn’t with us very long, for the consequences COVID-19 had on our spring semester of 2020. Rather than being initiated as planned in the spring, he had to be initiated the same semester as his graduation. Despite what little time we had to get to know V, we do know about his character. Virashan is a one in a million man, showing all aspects of what it takes to succeed in this world and leaving it a better place than what he found it. He studied mathematics and actuarial science, and since graduating has moved and started a life in Houston, Texas. V is someone that we can all look to and be inspired by. We are all better men for knowing Virashan Nathan.

Today we honor another recent graduate! Austin achieved the VP position in his first semester, ascended to President for two semesters, working tirelessly for each one of his brothers to see Eta Omicron thrive in the future. In his last semester, he accepted the position of Sergeant-At-Arms whilst completing his degree. Austin is the type to inspire just by being himself. This is a man that is for the betterment of those around him, a man that any person can look up to. Practical yet Imaginative, caring yet stern.
Austin is ready to succeed in whatever endeavor he chooses. We are all better men for meeting him.

Congratulations to brother Philip Blume for graduating last semester. Philip is a respected Army veteran who has seen many deployments. As well as being in great service to our country, Phil was immaculate in his service, loyalty, and affection to his brothers here at DSP. If you know Phil, you know why we love him. Thank you for your fantastic years with us.
