Congratulations to Claire Brill for winning the UWEC Capstone Presentation Competition last Friday!
Year/Major: Senior, Entrepreneurship Major with a Marketing Minor
Business: Naut Sweat Wipes - a biodegradable wipe with natural derivatives that rids the body of excess sweat and debris accumulated through exercise. The wipe works with the bodies natural composition as to not irritate the skin.
What do you love about entrepreneurship? I love the limitless options that entrepreneurship offers. Working for someone else can sometimes feel a bit mentally claustrophobic as you don't have full range with your ideas and opinions. Entrepreneurship offers all the free-range that you need to create, evolve and inspire.
Biggest takeaway from the entrepreneurship program: The biggest thing I learned within the entrepreneurship program is that failing strengthens you. Criticism is your best friend when developing an idea or starting a business. It is best to be criticized and to fail during development than leave it for the customers to criticize!
Awesome job, Claire!

Congratulations to Chris Olejniczak for winning the UWEC Capstone Presentation Competition last Monday!
Year/Major: Senior, Business Management with an emphasis on Entrepreneurial studies
Business Name: Specialty Auto Recycling - providing used automotive parts for classic European vehicles through dismantling and reselling
What do you love about entrepreneurship?
I love the freedom to make your own decisions and the endless possibilities.
Biggest takeaway from entrepreneurship:
That it’s going to take lots of trial and error, and many pivots will need to be made for every idea.
Awesome job, Chris!
